Sometimes we all need a little #healthyinspiration and here at Content HQ one of our favourite ways of motivating ourselves to get our move on is by updating our activewear wardrobes with easy-to-wear pieces that can just as easily take you from the studio to dinner with friends. While we patiently countdown the days until the new Net-A-Sporter activewear site launches on July 9th we round up our favourites from the fashionably functional to ethical and organic. Check out the activewear and accessories we are coveting this Summer.

Align With Nature...

Perfect for gym goers, yogini’s, dancers and Pilates lovers alike - mirror the elements with Five Feathers Earth To Sky Leggings (£62.95, Hip & Healthy) and extend your stretch to the sky all summer long.

Lustre Sports Bra ($65.99); Aphrodite Excel Tank ($69.99); Maxed Out Hoodie Zip Through ($89.99); Don't Wait 3-4 Tight ($87.99)Back to Basics...

Stretch it out with Pepper & Mayne's Sport-luxe Leotard (£65, Hip & Healthy) featuring an asymmetric neckline and faux leather panelling - this flexible number makes the perfect addition to your yoga, barre or Pilates wardrobe and we love that it can be just as easily paired with skinny jeans and a blazer to take you from studio to soiree in a heartbeat, whilst Zoe Karssen’s range of basics wins our tick of approval for the best simple studio to day-wear attire. We love!

Fashion Meets Functionality...

Suitable for running, gym and high intensity workouts, we rate Lorna Jane’s fashionably functional Aphrodite Tank (£44-image left) LOOK_003_9064 copyand Every Second Counts Todays The Day Vest (£52) two summer necessities guaranteed to give any activewear wardrobe a dose of sporty chic. Lucas Hugh always catch our eye with their clever print collections. We can't wait to get our hands on the new collection which features loose-fitting separates, perfect for layering (Vitascope Print T-Shirt £150, Vitascope Print Capri £250, Electron Shorts £140 - image right).

Go Organic...

If you're yet to hear of Zeugma, we're excited to be the first to fill you in on this amazing #contentapproved creation! This 95 percent organic-cotton textile mimics the qualities of petroleum-based technical fabrics without synthetic chemicals or additives and is capable of wicking away moisture, is fast drying, resists piling, and stays colorfast. As breathable as cotton - this fabric makes an apt choice for activewear. Found in yoga pants, tunics, and jumpsuits by Prancing Leopard which is the first company to introduce Zeugma cotton to apparel – we love their range of basic leggings and tunics.

If you like to know exactly what you are getting for your money you can't beat Patgonia's transparency in company and manufacturing practices. If you want to know more about what you are wearing check out their guide to fibres and fabrics.

Accessorise Right...

Whilst yoga mats are an excellent surface for practice, most are made with PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride) – a non-biodegradable toxic plastic that may include phthalates which can off-gas and leach during mat use. When on the search for your next yoga mat, keep in mind Manduka’s eKO mat – an eco-friendly yoga mat made from bio-degradable, non-Amazon harvested natural tree rubber that offers support for your practise whilst protecting the planet! Or go for one of our favourite yogi Shiva Rae’s mat of choice and try out JadeYoga’s range of mats made from natural rubber tapped from rubber trees containing no PVC’s or jade_fusion_yoga_mats__71688_zoomozone depleting substances with the added bonus that for every mat sold, JadeYoga plants a tree!

And remember check you water bottle is lined with BPA-free plastic or better still go for glass.
