FARMERS MARKET

One of the easiest ways to ensure sustained wellbeing is through a diet that contains fresh, local and organic produce as close to its natural state as possible. Last week we shared with you our shopping list of organic staples we always make sure to have on hand when whipping up a meal at home, but for those times when you fancy treating yourself to a meal out or juice on the go, this week we’ve put together a list of our favourite Soil Association certified organic places to eat and drink in and around London this Autumn.

Farmshops & Dining Out

Vineyards

If you’re partial to the odd glass of wine, finding UK certified organic wine may seem a stretch, but we have found two Soil Association certified organic wineries which offer great options. Both wineries use no inorganic fertilisers, herbicides or pesticides and ensure the highest environmental standards are maintained.

Quoins Vineyard - Located just outside of Bath and is supplied by Mumford’s vineyard Certified by the Soil Association, at every stage of the production process, from vineyard to winery to bottle. www.quoinsvineyard.co.uk

Avalon Vineyard - Stocking a range of organic English wines, fruit wines, meads, liqueurs and ciders completely free of chemical residues. Located deep in the Somerset countryside is another Soil Association certified vineyard that has been designed to co-exist in harmony with the local wildlife and environment. www.pennardorganicwines.co.uk
