Abeego beeswax wraps were created in 2008 as a natural and zero waste alternative to plastic food wrap. Made from hemp and organic cotton cloth that is then coated with a mix of beeswax, organic jojoba oil and tree resins to give both a pliable and wipe-able finish, Abeego was founded on two main principles. Firstly, it’s logical - if living food needed to be wrapped in airtight wrap the rind, peel or skin would be airtight. It’s not. Secondly, it’s inspirational - it looks good, feels good, smells good and fosters a healthier relationship with food.
