With each wash, countless plastic fibers from synthetic textiles are making their way from washing machines into rivers and oceans.
The Guppyfriend washing bag is a patented solution, that filters out the tiniest microfibers released from textiles during washing. The self-cleaning fabric bag is made of a specially designed micro-filter material. Simply collect the fibers and dispose them of properly.
Put synthetic textiles into the Guppyfriend. Do not overfill and separate colors.
Close the Guppyfriend and wash as usual.
Take out wet textiles after washing.
Remove the released microfibers from hems inside of Guppyfriend and dispose properly.
Apart from the zipper the bag is entirely made of Polyamide 6.6. The material is untreated, undyed, and does not contain any additives. It’s pure and can even be used in a medical context.
Recycled material doesn’t work (yet) for this kind of high-tech mesh. But the washing bag is designed so it can easily be recycled with identical materials at the end of its lifecycle: The whole bag – except the zipper – is made of a single material.
CHANGES TO SERVICE: Signing for and receiving items
In order to protect both Royal Mail and customers as much as possible, They are minimising contact between their staff and customers. They will not be handing over their hand-held devices to customers to capture signatures but instead log the name of the person accepting the item.
Additionally, for all customers where they need to deliver any item that won’t fit through your letterbox, They will place your item at your door. Having knocked on your door, we will then step aside to a safe distance while you retrieve your item. This will ensure your item is delivered securely rather than being left outside.
We regret we do not deliver to P.O. Boxes or hotels.
All deliveries require a signature. For UK residents you can add a note to leave in a safe place.
Please ensure there is someone available at the delivery address to sign for the package. Items may need to be collected from your local postal depot. Your tracking number can be located on your order or by clicking the link in your shipping confirmation email.
We recommend contacting us if you haven't received your package by the estimated delivery date below to allow us to assist you with tracking.
Please be aware, customs fees may be charged when arriving in your country. These are at the cost of the receiver.
