Handcrafted Badge - The artisans, part of a collective on the border of Ghana and Burkina Faso, take two to three days to hand weave each piece.
Resource Innovation Badge - Straw is procured locally, reducing the carbon footprint. Vegetable based dyes are used and the weaving is all done by women in the collective
Charitable Badge - For each Mmaa bag that you purchase, a girl or young woman will receive a reusable sanitary kit (one pad holder, three washable pad liners, soap, six pairs of underwear and washing bag) that will help keep girls in school and help end the shame and silence around period poverty. Members of the collective have access to financial literacy training, sexual and reproductive health education and business support programs.
We offer free UK delivery on all orders over £30 & free international delivery on orders over £100 or £150 depending on your location and when the parcel weighs less than 2kgs.
All countries outside of the UK will be automatically have UK VAT deducted at checkout. This means the listed price on products with VAT included will be reduced by 20% when you checkout.
