Ecommerce Content Coordinator


Working closely with the other teams at Content Head Office, this role ensures the optimal running of our eCommerce website.

From uploading products to taking part in various new online projects and launches, this is a job for a creative who demonstrates experience working within a commercial digital environment. High attention to detail and creativity is needed to thrive in this environment.

Daily tasks will include:

  • Managing product publishing to the Content website, ensuring product copy, SEO and ethos information and imagery is up to date and accurate. You will take ownership of the product range plan to make sure product is launched on time and merchandised into the correct product categories.
  • Responsible for product copy and site content to engage users & aid SEO, with the goal of driving revenue and conversion. 
  • Follow new projects, from copy updates to site design through to implementation stage. This includes regularly updating the Content website, working with developers to build trend focused features and editorials, updating landing page content and making changes to navigation & information. You will take responsibility for the online customer journey content accuracy and ensuring that changes are made on time. 
  • Creating, testing and dispatching email campaigns and assisting in managing promotions and events; design, decide on the customer journey and coordinating go-live.
  • Working with the photography studio to ensure product imagery is accurate and consistent, and helping to maintain an image archive for the ecommerce department. You will have the relevant skills to edit images, creation to headers and banners. 
  • Following up on queries from the customer service team and helping to resolve issues, from site bugs to content and follow through until fixed. 
  • Quality control the site daily to ensure the site is kept to a high standard, vigilantly sweeping the site to identify bugs, issues and errors and correcting.
  • Building strong relationships at every level across all departments and carry out additional General Admin duties as specified to support the Department.
  • Ownership of web reporting, tracking conversion and site-specific homepage engagement and performance. Monthly statistical reporting relating to online marketing activity using Google Analytics. Monthly follow-up with team to report on Website and Branding Issues. Constantly reviewing sector for digital trends.

Successful applicants must show: 

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role with a multi-brand retailer.
  • Understanding of SEO and experience of copywriting.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Photoshop and Google Analytics. Basic HTML and coding skills. Knowledge of online content management systems.
  • Attention to detail essential.
  • Passion and understanding of the natural beauty sector and associated lifestyle choices (zero-waste/ethical shopping etc).
  • Desire to develop in this sector and expand your career to excel at crafting an inspiring shopping experience.

SOCIAL MEDIA & CONTENT CO-ORDINATOR


This role involves accelerating brand reach and awareness using the voice and visual identity of Content.

Collaborating with the Company Director in the creation of Content’s content and social marketing strategy, brand content creation for our digital magazine and any other media channels. This role is key to communicating and bringing to life the iconic voice of the brand and protecting the tone and expertise of the brand on all channels.

Responsibilities include implementing the social media strategy, writing and sourcing content for the blog, creating newsletters and providing copywriting as needed - always ensuring the brand voice is delivered consistently through all visual and marketing communications.

Daily tasks will include:

  • Develop internal content calendar, coordinating and developing the creative, SEO rich content of the our digital magazine and newsletters to assist in driving Google ranking and sales.
  • Develop, implement and monitor social media & strategy across online, store and events to raise brand profile and increase sales - working alongside the team and company calendar.
  • To implement the day-to-day communication on our social media channels, to inspire, influence and engage potential customers and audiences creating advocates of our brand.
  • To oversee the email marketing delivery schedule, including writing, creating, testing, sending and analysing results for the e-newsletter.
  • Commissioning, editing and writing for the Content Magazine.
  • Attend events, instore Meet the Maker events to create live content
  • Monthly Summary Business update dashboard for key metrics.
  • Measure the impact of social media campaigns to determine effectiveness through the relevant monitoring tools, to maximise results.
  • Maintain and update the marketing documentation and databases.

Successful applicants must show:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in managing commercial channels in the beauty sector or similar business.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Adobe Indesign, Lightroom and Photoshop. iMovie and Final Cut Pro. Basic HTML and coding skills are useful. Knowledge of online content management systems.
  • Attention to detail essential.

BUYING AND PURCHASING ASSISTANT


Reporting directly to the Commercial Director this role is ideal for someone who has minimum 2-3 years buying or assistant buying experience within the beauty industry and has a passion for the organic beauty sector.

We are looking for a smart and entrepreneurial Buying and Purchasing Assistant who has existing beauty  experience, ideally with an eCommerce background. The successful candidate will have sound commercial skills and love analytics and data analysis.

The role will include reporting to the Store Manager and Commercial Director on 

  • Product forecasts and sales and stock analysis 
  • Reporting on industry and buying trends
  • Campaign reporting

Daily tasks will include:

  • Sales Analysis 
  • Creating, updating and booking in purchase orders.
  • Allocating stock over the two business (Store and Ecommerce)
  • Overseeing the buying calendar in line with marketing to include promotions, sales and discontinuations.
  • Managing range performance by brand and category
  • Negotiating deliveries and freight cost management
  • Strategies for new launches including preparing inhouse training materials

    Successful applicants must show:

    • a desire to keep up-to-date with trends, ingredients and developments within our sector to help ensure you become the green beauty expert we require all our team to be.
    • an understanding of the importance of forecasting, sales and stock analysis.
